ABSTRACT

At this point, it is a great temptation to do two things (in addition to wondering if anyone ever reads conclusions). First, I could assume that you have not read the book carefully nor used its content for interactions with your instructor and your peers. Thus, here it would behoove me to try and summarize several hundred hundred pages of text—something which goes against my entire concept of what education is all about. A number of our best scholars have shared valuable insights with you, and they have done so lucidly and meaningfully. Getting in touch with the original text, with the original ideas as expressed by any author can never be supplanted by any second-hand summary of explanation. Thus I will not summarize the content of this book.
