Back in 2006, the lives of a millionaire Omani businessman and an Indian computer professional collided at a mosque in Muscat. 1 From the two men, investigators in India now have significant new insights into the complex threads that link three apparently distinct jihadist enterprises: the urban bombing campaign that has claimed hundreds of lives across India since 2005; the November 2008 assault on Mumbai; and a wider jihadist apparatus stretching across the Indian Ocean from the Persian Gulf to Bangladesh.
