ABSTRACT
You may describe the evolution of an organisation in different ways. In this chapter I have chosen to pick some decisive moments in which European football was forced to react in order to facilitate a need or stay in control of its own destiny. The chosen moments are mine and based on my view of what has been important. Others would perhaps pick other moments and there are, of course, more than those described in this short text.
