ABSTRACT
A literary text may be illustrated several times by different artists. This is often the case with fairy tales, for instance, but it is not very common when it comes to the picturebook genre.
Astrid Lindgren has written more than fi fty picturebooks. Among these books, we fi nd four titles that have all been illustrated twice by different illustrators: Jag vill inte gå och lägga mig! (I Don’t Want to Go to Bed), Jag vill också gå i skolan (I Want to Go to School Too), Jag vill också ha ett syskon (I Want a Brother or Sister), and Jul i stallet (Christmas in the Stable).
