ABSTRACT
The events of 9/11 profoundly impacted the New York City and Washington, DC metropolitan areas and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Children and families sustained particularly intense trauma. Coping strategies were challenged. For many, their lives will always be remembered as before and after 9/11.
