Six-year-old Sasha1 was badly hurt in a terror attack outside a shopping mall in Netanya in May, 2001. His father was killed and his mother Olessia was seriously injured. His uncle’s fiancée was also killed. Sasha’s uncle Germann, Olessia’s 20-year-old brother, a soldier in the Israel Defence Forces, was the family’s only relative in the country.
