Guide: Building Bi-National Collaboration in the Face of Terrorism

In the face of public emergencies, philanthropic organizations can assume a leadership role beyond fundraising and traditional grant-making by developing and supporting transformative approaches to humanitarian crisis. We describe a specific response by a philanthropic organization, UJA-Federation of New York, to terrorism in the United States and Israel to illustrate opportunities to define innovation in catastrophes.
