ABSTRACT

Integrating employee assistance, work-life, and wellness programs has become one of the dominant topics of discussion among EAPs at the present time. At issue are three questions: What is integration; how does it work; and will it really offer employers more robust services that enhance employee health and productivity? UA Life & Work Connections, on the campus of the University of Arizona, has had a unique opportunity to create an integrated program from inception over the past 14 years. Exploring ways the program developed and is operated provides one example of how these key questions are answered.
