ABSTRACT
Interlibrary Loan is covered by a number of national, international, and regional codes, which govern the general operation of ILL departments. Additionally, since 2002, a number of new laws and regulations which affect ILL services have come into force. It is the department supervisor’s responsibility to understand and comply with the existing codes, laws, and regulations.
