ABSTRACT
Information literacy is a foundational pillar of research and scholarship. In this age of information proliferation, it becomes an even more critical skill as scholars work to access and evaluate the myriad of information sources available. While critical in academic settings, information literacy extends into all aspects of 21st century life where information and its productive and ethical use lie at the heart of global interactions.
