The arrival of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the lives of teachers and their students, student teachers and those involved in teacher education, means much more than simply the arrival of new ways to provide the same old news. These new technologies demand that educators rethink the nature of their work and the forms of collaboration and communication that are proper to this work.
