ABSTRACT
Behavior-genetic analysis is the approach to the study of organisms and their behavior that com bines the concepts of behavioral analysis from psychology and ethology, based on the knowl edge or control of experience, with the concepts and methods of genetic analysis based on the knowledge or control of ancestry. The combi nation of these two disparate domains provides challenges for those trained primarily as behav ior analysts to appreciate the complexity of genetic systems, as well as for those trained primarily as geneticists to appreciate the com plexity of behavior.
