ABSTRACT
A number of factors affect household welfare through the destruction of physical and human capital stock. One of the important factors among them is inequality in land distribution. The involuntary displacement of people from their original homes and environment has become an issue of increasing concern in civil society, particularly in view of the increasing scarcity of land due to the rapid growth in population as well as the pace of industrialization.
