ABSTRACT
A close and methodical attention to the literature on Ghanaian political discourse suggests that there is a dearth of scholarly work on Ghanaian political communication. The little that has been done has focused on specific aspects of public “discourse” 1 or policy “discourse” with such authors paying little or no attention to language and linguistic analyses. 2
