ABSTRACT
This chapter maps the contribution of education to creativity and innovation. To do so, it explores a number of different domains of educational theorising and practice, and what they bring to twenty-first-century understandings of creativity and innovation as related fields. The chapter proceeds by way of providing definitional clarity and an historical overview, before moving to consider substantive contributions under the following headings:
