ABSTRACT
Brazil today is attempting to structure a proper system of innovation capable of integrating the efforts of universities and research institutions and the business sector in a lasting and consistent manner. The three actors—government, academic and research institutions and the business sector—are changing their strategies with regard to technological training, innovation and the recognition of the value of knowledge.
