ABSTRACT

Sarah was a 55-year-old widowed female who participated in a 10-week group cognitive-behavioral treatment for CB. She appeared quite guarded initially, and for the §rst several sessions only participated in group discussion when speci§cally asked to do so; however, she became a more active participant as the treatment progressed. When Sarah contributed to group discussion her comments were insightful and bene§cial to the other group members.
