Compulsive buying (CB) is an o¬en misunderstood disorder. Many people confuse it with impulse buying, excessive buying, and other more normal behaviors. While CB may share a number of behavioral characteristics with these other forms of purchasing, its causes, triggers, and outcomes di€er in important ways.
