ABSTRACT

On 27 January 1980, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) was established as a strategic necessity to carry out the task of polling under its banner the Kuwaiti companies working in the extraction, processing and marketing of oil and natural gas (NG), and to distribute work between the different sectors on scientific principles within the framework of a central, corporate planning and integral co-ordination which realises maximum effectiveness and ensures thereby the continuous development and progress of this industry, which is the country’s mainstay and source of strength.
