European Works Councils and Trade Union Networking: A New Space for Regulation and Workers’ Solidarity in Europe?

The geographical and spatial dimensions of labour relations have been studied constantly since the nineteenth century. Particular interest has been focused on the international and regional dimension of labour relations, either at the sub-national (i.e. sectoral) or supra-national level (i.e. across the North-American and Mexican borders or across the borders of the European member states).
