ABSTRACT
In deciding to produce this book, we took on a tremendous challenge. We and our contributing authors made a pact to bring our expertise to bear in order to break new ground-to develop a new science for managing supply chains in an extreme world. This new science-X-SCM-is both the theory and practice of mastering change that is occurring on a scale and level not previously experienced.
