ABSTRACT
The evolution of application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in most domains has been driven by technological innovation in the ICT sector. During the early days of commercial computing, numerical processing was the primary application. Eventually, the capabilities of computing expanded to include data processing, visualisation, communication and collaboration.
