ABSTRACT
For over a century, researchers have explored issues surrounding gifted and talented individuals and those who support them, establishing a knowledge base relating to cognitive and affective development, curricular and programmatic options, parenting and teacher-related issues, special populations of gifted students, etc. (Plucker & Callahan, 2008). However, despite the fact that homeschooling, in one form or another, has been part of the education of our citizens since the inception of the United States, very little is known about homeschooling gifted students.
