ABSTRACT
In 1993, the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Association held its first annual conference, hosted by Loma Linda University in Southern California. Wildfires were rampant before the conference and many people were displaced as they evacuated their homes. The fires were brought under control in time for us to have our conference, but our hotel was inundated with firefighters and displaced people.
