Mes van der Rohe’s bref was to make a house for hs frend Dr Edth Farnsworth, to dentfy a place for her to enjoy at weekends and other recreatonal tmes. The house contans the usual accommodaton: a hearth as a source of warmth and focus for general occupaton and socablty; a bed for sleepng etc.; a ktchen; a dnng table; two bathrooms; and varous cupboards.
