ABSTRACT
In the 1970s the Australan-based archtect Glenn Murcutt desgned a house n open countrysde near the small town of Kempsey n New South Wales. He desgned t for a lady called Mare Short. In the 1980s he acqured the house for hs own use and extended t. In the 1990s he converted a tradtonally bult tmber shed, south of the man house, nto accommodaton for guests. Ths small apartment s the Kempsey (or Murcutt) Guest Studo.
