Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) has an integral place in cystic fibrosis care and follows up because of its high yield of diagnostic, prognostic and functional information. The most important parameter of aerobic exercise capacity is the peak oxygen uptake (peak VO2) (Ferraza et al., 2009; Midgley and Carroll, 2009).
