ABSTRACT
We started this volume with a focus on some of the essential and most frequently asked questions posed by early career investigators. These were the centerpieces of the chapters in this volume and each author addressed these questions based on their experiences conducting research and offered insights and important lessons learned. We conclude by asking additional questions that reflect areas where applied studies on children and adolescents may need to focus.
