ABSTRACT

ONE implication of Sonja Sackmann’s chapter is that commentators ought to identify the contexts from which they write. My background is in organizational theory and behavior, and my expertise is in group development and change. I therefore have the advantage of being vested in none of the viewpoints Sackmann describes, and the disadvantage of being unable to evaluate closely the accuracy of her literature review. Accordingly, I would like simply to point out some questions and issues I believe the chapter raises.
