ABSTRACT
AS transportation costs rise and computer communications systems become more advanced, far greater use of computer conferences, electronic mail systems, and microcomputer bulletin board systems (for which a subculture is rapidly growing) can be expected. In order to keep up with changing times and new developments in corporate and home computer use, it is necessary to examine those aspects of computers and computer conferencing that can ultimately lead to their successful design and utilization.
