ABSTRACT
TO begin, we found Waldron’s essay to be excellent. It was a comprehensive, insightful, and well-written exposition of the current state of emotion communication in the workplace. He extends his previous work by developing new ways to conceptualize the communication of emotion in organizational settings. In addition, he offers new directions for research that should yield important information about organizational regu- lation of affect.
