ABSTRACT
IN her essay, Professor Young Yun Kim has brought together a variety of literatures in support of a new model and description. Her effort is sparked by a concern for the problems of interethnic understanding in the United States and around the world. The urgency of the situation described in her essay ought to be taken seriously by all of us in the profession.
