Soft risk management for the implementation of an information systems project

This paper describes the use of soft systems analysis workshops to augment the risk management process of the implementation of the Community Information Systems Project (CISP) in Wandsworth Community Health Trust. It describes the systems development and implementation approach adopted by the trust, how the workshops enabled the identification of soft risks and their subsequent input into the change management programme.
