ABSTRACT

In Chapter 9, James Ker-Lindsay wrote: ‘Kosovo is a crucial issue because it raises profound questions about the future of the contemporary system of international politics that was first formulated at the end of the Second World War’ (p. 168). This is undeniably the case, and the chapters in this book have each attempted to draw out and answer these ‘profound questions’ so that we may be better able to discern future trends in international relations.
