New courts in Asia: Law, development and judicialization

As we have stated in the Preface, ‘new courts’ have mushroomed in Asia, with little comparative analysis of their experience.2 While country-specific studies of Asian courts, including monographs, increase almost daily, this publication brings together scholars writing about and reviewing the experience of Asian courts to enable a timely, comparative analysis of the new court phenomenon.3
