Dr. Samson: Good morning. This morning we have some presenters whose dissertations include creative writing in the form of fictionalized stories written to convey research data and interpretations. As some of you know, some great debates have occurred regarding the merits of a fiction in writing a dissertation, and one of the most famous was between two distinguished educators, Howard Gardner and Elliot Eisner, who, by the way, I’ve been told will make an appearance today.
