Narcissism invades the organization one executive at a time. If one narcissist is allowed to rise to power, he inevitably hires reinforcements. Slowly, critical power positions are filled with those who will support his agenda. Some of them are themselves narcissists; others fill the supporting role of the enabler … One narcissist can create a cluster of narcissism that, if unchecked, can grow to dominate an entire organization.
