ABSTRACT
Th e value of the assignment, 10 points, makes it comparable to the other course assignmentsjournal article reviews, a comparison of an historical topic’s treatment in two textbooks, and an analysis of a public issue. In addition, a lesson and unit planning assignment is worth 20 points, as are the midterm and fi nal exams, for a total of 100 points on a standard grading scale.
