ABSTRACT

I write this chapter as an organiser of, and participant in, the Association of Jungian Analyst's course for potential supervisors, offering a dual perspective, to help consolidate what you, as reader, may gain from the book. The course was designed for supervisors from a range of settings, and for those wishing to be training supervisors within their organisations, this emphasis being a distinctive feature. As context, both Jung and post-Jungians are comfortable with the rational and the concrete, and also with a symbolic, non-linear approach to reality, trying to do justice to the multiplicity of variables, apparent and hidden, which make up the reality called `universe', even `multiverse'.
