Introduction

We are often accused of not having much of a story in our pictures, but I think you will find that when the mass of comedy business has been scraped away and the bare plot is left exposed, a genuine situation is sticking around in it somewhere. This, however, is usually so skillfully and humorously covered by Mack Sennett’s directing, that a careless observer is inclined to overlook it.
