ABSTRACT

The Admissions Framework First impressions matter a great deal, and the way a university welcomes students who choose to enrol with it can be hugely important in determining how they subsequently regard the organisation. National systems for admissions vary substantially, and this chapter sets out to describe admissions processes in different countries and to draw from them some transferable guiding principles.
