ABSTRACT
It may seem strange to include a paper on communication intervention in this collection of perspectives on educational psychology. Communication intervention is, after all, usually associated with speech-language pathologists, not with educational psychologists. However, educational and behavioural psychologists – often working in collaboration with speech-language pathologists – have made major contributions to the field.
