ABSTRACT

To make the most of the data gathered by the LARES project, WHO ECEH brought together a multidisciplinary and international team of experts. Working individually or in small groups, these experts analysed the data, concentrating on their own particular subject area. Coordinating meetings provided the opportunity for report backs and discussions on the progress of the analyses, and for crossfertilisation, which sparked further ideas and insights. As a part of the coordination of the analyses, it was agreed that certain conventions or scores would be adopted (an explanation of these is given in Chapter 5).
