ABSTRACT
Over the last few decades, Swedish football supporter culture has developed and continually changed. This chapter focuses on one particular dimension of that culture: namely, rock music. More precisely, this chapter is a study of rock bands or artists that are in symbiosis with Swedish football clubs and their supporters. The chapter begins with a short account of three perspectives on the theme of support. This is followed by a description of three analytical perspectives and three different bands/artists with close connections to different Stockholmbased football clubs: Djurgårdens IF, Hammarby IF and AIK.2
