ABSTRACT
Acculturation is by nature a multilevel issue; it typically involves at least the current state of social groups and individual change. The current chapter concentrates on two topics. First, I discuss current conceptual developments in acculturation research from a multilevel perspective. In the second part, I review selected empirical studies to assess their contribution to multilevel analysis of acculturation phenomena.
