Italian libraries and archives containing Bellini manuscripts include: Naples, Library of the Conservatorio di Musica “S. Pietro a Majella”; Rome, Library of the Conservatorio di Musica “S. Cecilia”; Milan, Library of the Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi”; Catania, Museo belliniano; Milan, Casa Ricordi (which lost most of its correspondence with Bellini and Romani during World War II); Palermo, Biblioteca Comunale; Naples, Biblioteca Lucchesi Palli; and others. Collections in Great Britain, France, the United States, and other countries to a lesser extent also contain manuscript sources by Bellini.
