ABSTRACT
I flew to Orlando, Florida, on August 8, 2005, to take part in the ELCA Churchwide Assembly. There were other voting members on the plane and we engaged in “getting to know you” conversations. Bad weather delayed the flight from Minneapolis, and poor ground transportation delayed the transfer in Orlando from the airport to the hotel and convention center complex.
