ABSTRACT
As the title of this chapter implies, DICK SCHWARTZ looks at the different parts that make up an individual, as well as the family system to which he or she belongs. In his internal family systems model, he combines traditional systemic thinking with a broader base that encompasses cultural, political, and intrapsychic facets.
