Part of what I’ve been working on . . . is how do you broach the conversation or create the dialogue without being offensive? . . . one of the reviewers said that my piece was too negative about traditional methods . . . my piece was about creating a critical lens with students, so I wrote the piece with a critical perspective. And the reader took that as negative.
