ABSTRACT

In recent years as female soccer players have been increasing in number, several researchers have investigated sports injuries amongst them (Brynhildsen et al., 1990; Engström et al., 1991). They reported that the ratio of injuries to the leg joint and knee joint were higher than the other regions. Moreover, compared with male footballers, it was reported that the rates of anterior cruciate ligament damage and compression fracture were notable (Lindenfeld et al., 1994; Arendt and Dick, 1995; Mandelbaum and Putukian, 1999; Wojtys et al., 2003).
